About the Business Summit

The B2B PrideLife Business Summit is a one-day event focused on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the business landscape. The Summit aims to bring together thought leaders, industry experts, and professionals from various backgrounds to foster meaningful conversations, share insights, and build connections that drive DEI excellence in the corporate world.

Additionally, the Summit features a vendor showcase to help connect corporate buyers with certified LGBT Business Enterprises (LGBTBEs) and small businesses from across North Carolina, building new relationships and driving business growth for small and minority-owned businesses.

The PrideLife Business Summit is the premier platform for exchanging ideas, forging partnerships, and inspiring change!

Agenda

Our speaker and panelist lineup of influential business leaders, prominent LGBT+ business owners, and renowned diversity advocates will share their personal stories, industry expertise, and strategies for creating inclusive workplaces. Learn from the best in the field and gain actionable insights to drive DEI initiatives within your organization.

We’ll release the full agenda closer to the date of the event; it features programming within the following tracks:

For organizations looking to develop and mentor their diversity supplier base, as well as entrepreneurs and start-ups seeking best practices in order to get ahead and compete both efficiently & effectively.

For organizations with DEI & ERG programs not yet established, in early-to-mid growth stages, or experiencing stagnancy and in need of inspiration. Learn from those involved in world-class programs who are reaching back to help pull your ideas and supportive measures forward.

For organizations with well-established DEI & ERG programs looking to increase engagement and organically incorporate DEI into their workplace culture, including in their learning and development programs.

From how to better support trans individuals transitioning in a corporate environment, to actionable ways to meaningfully support LGBT+ employees and the LGBT+ community in a divisive climate—without alienating stakeholders and clients—this track is for those seeking to grow in their awareness and understanding of real-time LGBT+ issues.
